PURPOSE: A banding device for wrapping having a band tension controller is provided to instantly apply repulsive force to a band banding objects by a bundle unit to weaken the binding force applied to the band in a predetermined range for preventing the damage or deformation caused to the objects due to excessive binding force. CONSTITUTION: A banding device for wrapping includes an operation element(1) rotatably mounted with a tension jaw(14) protruded with holding rods on both sides in a holding groove of a U-shaped band guide(11) having a slant bottom surface, a main body(2) mounted at the front end of a rotation cam to contact a standing element(21), and a band tension controller(a) mounted in the conveying path of a band(5), wherein the band tension controller makes the operation element pivot on a hinge pin(15) with respect to the main body and the operation element is connected to the ends of each coil spring(4) fixed to the side of the main body.
