APPARATUS FOR PREVENTING FOAM GENERATION FOR ACCUMULATOR

PURPOSE: An apparatus is provided to achieve an in-advance prevention against noise by preventing cavitation caused by the foam generated during oil inflow toward the stand pipe within the accumulator. CONSTITUTION: An accumulator(20) comprises a main body(21) connected to an inlet pipe(22) for allowing the refrigerant flowing in accordance with a cooling cycle to enter the inlet pipe; a stand pipe(23) extended from the lower end of the main body so as to transfer the vaporized refrigerant to a compressor, and which has an oil hole(23a) formed at the lower circumference of the stand pipe so as to allow the oil collected within the main body to enter the oil hole; and a foam generation prevention member(26) arranged along the circumference of the oil hole formed at the stand pipe. Thus, it is possible to prevent foam from being generated while the oil collected in the main body of the accumulator is introduced into the stand pipe through the oil hole.
