摘要 PURPOSE: Disclosed is a wastewater treatment system with a pair of biofilm reactors being interconnected each other, in which one biofilm reactor is operated in an aerobic condition, the other biofilm reactor is operated in an anaerobic condition. Wastewater flows into the upper mouth of an anaerobic reactor, travels through the anaerobic reactor into the upper mouth of an aerobic reactor via a pair of interconnecting pipes (6A, 6B). In addition, back-washing is conducted periodically to prevent clogging of packed media and back-wash water travels through a storage tank (13) into a flow equalization tank (2). CONSTITUTION: This wastewater treatment system consists of a pair of biofilm reactors being interconnected each other in which two diffusers (11A, 11B) are installed at each reactor respectively, and pipes (10A, 10B) for back washing are installed at the bottom of each reactor; interconnecting pipes (6A, 6B) cross-interconnecting two biofilm reactors.
