PURPOSE: A developing apparatus and a usage method thereof are provided, which can prevent an overflow of a developing agent from a developer during a transportation. CONSTITUTION: A rotation type developing apparatus accommodates a developing agent(L) including at least a toner and a carrier, and has a developer(20) returning the developing agent to a developing roll(14) and a developing agent cartridge supplying the developing agent to the developer and a rotator rotating by sustaining the developer. A multi color image is formed by making the developing roll face with a photoresist drum(16) successively by the rotation of the rotator. And a closing member is installed which closes an opening part of the developer through which the developing roll is revealed.
