PURPOSE: A prefabricated water tank using a sheet molding compound panel fitted with a super thin stainless steel plate is provided to intercept the generation of noxious elements caused by chemical action in the stored water of a water tank and to install or move simply regardless of locations. CONSTITUTION: A prefabricated water tank comprises many sheet molding compound panels(10) in rectangular shape, a thermal insulating material(15) adhered closely to one side of the sheet molding compound panels, a rib(20) projected to the outside on the edge of the sheet compound panels and provided with bonding holes(25) at regular intervals, lustrous super thin stainless steel plates(30) adhered closely to the inner and outer sides of the sheet molding compound panels, soft adhesive urethane(40) interposed between the super thin stainless steel plates and the sheet molding compound panels, and a clamping bolt inserted between the bonding holes of the rib and connecting the sheet molding compound panels and the sheet molding compound panels(10).
