PURPOSE: An automatic bill issue system and a method thereof are provided to determine a printing position and image based on the data of the bill input via an external computer or directly input via a keyboard and to transmit them to a printer. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises the first input buffer(31), a keyboard(32), the second input buffer(33), an output buffer(34), a memory(35), a display device(36), and a CPU(37). The first input buffer(31) transiently stores the printing data of the bill input via an external computer. The keyboard(32) enables the user to input the printing data of the bill. The second input buffer(33) transiently stores the printing data of the bill input via keyboard(32) the directly by the user. The output buffer(34) transiently stores the printing data to be transmitted to the printer. The memory(35) stores the printing position and image, and a control program for processing the printing data. The CPU(37) receives selectively the printing data from the first buffer(31) or the second buffer(32), recognizes the bill sort, extracts the printing data and image from the memory(35) according to the bill sort and transmits them to the output buffer(34).
