PURPOSE: A tire for vehicle improves a steering stability and a ride comfort in a dried road surface without deteriorating the performance of the vehicle on a snow road or a frozen road. CONSTITUTION: A tire for a vehicle comprises a shoulder edge portion(4) where a tread portion(1) and a side wall portion(2) are encountered. The shoulder edge portion(4) has a curved surface portion(6) and a straight line portion(5) repeatedly formed on the circumference thereof. When the vehicle is running on a snow road or a frozen road, the straight line portion(5) helps to secure a steering stability. Further, when the vehicle is running on a dried road, the curved surface portion(6) helps to secure the steering stability.
