PURPOSE: An electromagnetic interference(EMI) prevention structure for key input unit is provided to achieve an improved operation of device by preventing electromagnetic wave leakage through gaps formed between keys and the front panel of a key input unit. CONSTITUTION: An EMI prevention structure comprises a front panel(10) having a plurality of protruded keys(20); a printed circuit board(16) installed at rear surfaces of keys of the front panel; a metallic shield film(22) which covers the rear surface of the printed circuit board and is tightly attached to the front panel in such a manner as to include keys mounted at the front panel; a front panel frame(12) for fixation of the front panel; and a gasket(13) arranged between the front panel and the front panel frame so as to obtain an airtightness. The metallic shield prevents electromagnetic wave leakage through gaps formed among keys and the front panel, to thereby improve reliability of device.
