PURPOSE: A synthetic resin piston of a gas cylinder is provided to integrate washer grooves to be inserted by plate washers for maintaining an original shape via the plate washers in spite of strong oil or air pressure, and prevent the generation of scraps due to the friction generated between a cylinder and a piston by forming the piston of flexible synthetic resins, thereby expanding the life of the gas cylinder. CONSTITUTION: A synthetic resin piston(100) of a gas cylinder is formed of synthetic resin and integrally formed with a rod through hole(110) for fixing a piston to a piston rod, a pressure ring coupling groove(120) for inserting a pressure ring(120a), and washer grooves(130a,130b) by the injection molding method, wherein the washer grooves are inserted by plate washers(200a,200b) to be fixed to the piston rod, respectively.
