LONGITUDINALLY FLEXIBLE STENT

PURPOSE: A stent having longitudinally flexibility before expansion to allow the twisted lumen to easily go down and after expansion to coincide with the original flexibility and curvature of a blood vessel is provided, which has a continuous and stable application range of a vessel wall for minimization of the sag of a tissue by the stent. CONSTITUTION: The intravascular stent(208) especially suited for implanting in curved arterial portions(210) comprises: a first loop containing a section in which it is formed by a plurality of triangle cells and each triangle cell is generally disposed in the circumferential direction; a second loop containing the section connected to the first loop containing a section at a first joint point; and a third loop containing the section connected to the first loop containing a section at a second joint point and the second loop containing a section at a third joint point.
