PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outwardly good-looking shrinkable seamless tube which appears neatly shaped when used for covering electronic components such as a capacitor and a cell, and further, is free from phenomena such as stripping and dry spot, even when treated at high temperatures for a long time. SOLUTION: A shrinkable seamless tube mad of a resin composition consisting of an aromatic polyester resin and a polyamide resin is used for covering electronic components such as a capacitor and a cell. This invention also covers the capacitor and the cell sheathed with the seamless tube. In this case, a polyethylene terephthalate is used as the polyester resin and 5-50 pts.wt. nylon 6, nylon 66 or a copolymer of nylon 6 and nylon 66 are used for 100 pts.wt. aromatic polyester resin as the polyamide resin. Further, it is preferable to biaxially stretch the tube 0.9-3 times in the longitudinal direction and 2-3 times in the crosswise direction. |
