PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear made of a resin, in which durability is enhanced, by using a ringlike fiber reinforced base material having an unnoticeable joint and making a reinforcing fiber so as to effectively catch stress added to the tooth surface of the gear in the gear made of the resin, in which the tooth part is constituted of a ringlike molded body, and sufficiently penetrating the resin into the intervals of reinforcing fibers without making roughness and fineness of reinforced fibers. SOLUTION: Such a ringlike fiber reinforced base material 3 is used that a beltlike felt 1 is lap-wound and a space is left in a center. The interval of mutual reinforcing fibers constituting the felt 1 is combined with reinforcing fibers directed toward the thickness direction of the felt. Further, the interval of the layers of lap-wound felt 1 is combined with reinforcing fibers directed toward the thickness direction of the felt. The tooth part of a gear is constituted of a ringlike molded body, in which a resin is impregnated into such the fiber reinforced base material 3 as this. |
