PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging bag capable of being produced at a low cost and capable of ensuring a large hidden display area. SOLUTION: A packaging material 1 is constituted by successively applying first pattern printing 11, opaque solid printing 12 and second pattern printing 13 to the single surface of a transparent base material film 10 and laminating a transparent heat sealing layer 14 to the surface of the second pattern printing 13 and the base material film 10 is set to an upper or rear surface side and the heat sealing layer 14 is heat-sealed to make a bag. In a packaged state, one of the first pattern printing 11 and the second pattern printing 13 becomes a cover design and the other one of them is not seen because of being covered with the solid printing 12 but can be seen only when the bag is cut open. Hidden display can be applied to the entire inner surface of the bag only by applying three printing layers to the single surface of the base material film 10.
