PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a used envelope to be used for re-sending, in particular to insure easy sealing for reuse and to suppress contact with other documents during mailing. SOLUTION: A bottom 12 of an envelope 1 including a body 10-1 and a flap 11 is used in common to form a return envelope portion 12 in the body 10-1. The envelope portion 2 includes a return body 20, and a flap 18 defined by a cut line 17 and creases 16, 25. An adhesive is applied on a surface of a back 20b of the portion 2 which comes into contact with the flap 18 when it is folded, and a piece of release paper 31 is stuck to cover the adhesive, thereby constituting the return envelope portion 2.
