The invention concerns a method for producing alkylhalogenosilanes by direct synthesis which consists in contacting an alkyl halide, preferably CH3Cl, with silicon, at a temperature ranging between 250 and 350 DEG C, in the presence of a catalytic system, comprising Cu as catalyst and a reaction promoter, Zn. The amount of Ni and V in the silicon is deliberately adjusted at a value not more than 40 ppm, in particular not more than 30 ppm, preferably not more than 20 ppm, by acting on the amount of Ni and V input by the raw materials used in the carbothermal reduction process of a raw material containing silicon. |
