The container is formed from a cut blank which is folded to define panels which include a base, side flaps, two small transverse surfaces and a closing flap. The first of the two rectangular parts (1) of the blank has an end panel (5) with a defined triangular flap (3) with the contour of the second rectangular part (2). The length of this second part is such that its two end transverse edges (16,17) are offset relative to the transverse edges (1,6) of the first part.
