<p>The wheel unit has an upper protective cap(12) with a connecting assembly(2,3,11) and can be connected to the frame of the vehicle so that the upper cap can rotate in relation to the frame. The upper cap has two oppositely disposed walls(19) with define an upper socket(13) between them. The two walls have a pair of relatively aligned axle housings(14). A lower protective cap(4) is connected to the upper cap and has a lower socket aligned with the upper. A wheel(5) is housed to rotate in the upper and lower sockets and its foot end extends out of the lower socket. The upper and lower caps cover the wheel axle hole(51) and axle(6) in order to prevent ingress of foreign bodies.</p> |
