The system includes a communication network (12) including a plurality of communication devices (16), each being at the disposal of a specific user; and a database system (18) for receiving and storing information pertaining to at least one sporting event wager placed by the user, the database system (18) further receiving and storing information pertaining to the status of at least one sporting event, the database system (18) including a processing unit (24) for comparing the at least one sporting event wager placed by the user to the information pertaining to the status of the at least one sporting event, such that information pertaining to a status of the at least one sporting event wager placed by the user is providable thereto via the communication device (16).</p> |
