<p>A broadcast system which can practice the storage of contents on a reception side, the utilization restriction of the stored contents, etc. on the basis of respective services of contents provider. In a storage-type broadcast system which, after contents transmitted from a transmission side (10) are stored on a reception side (30), reproduces or displays the contents, service structure information data (19) that describes the relation structure between services provided by the contents providers and reference information data (13) that relates the contents with the service structure information data are transmitted beforehand by the transmission side, and the service structure information data (36) and the reference information data (37) are received and stored by the reception side so as to utilize the information data for the management of the storage of the contents. The contents for respective services can be individually controlled in accordance with information data which can be reconstructed from the service structure information data and the reference information data.</p> |
