METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CONNECTING INTERNET PHONE USING INTERNET PHONE TERMINAL

PURPOSE: A method and a device for connecting an Internet phone using an Internet phone terminal are provided to automatically connect a communication network of a selected other party, if clicking a displayed telephone number of the other party using a directory service of a web server. CONSTITUTION: An Internet phone terminal(110) connects an Internet network by driving a web browser. A home page of a telephone number directory service of a directory server(130) is searched through an Internet service provider(120). A subscriber for speech is clicked and selected through the telephone number directory service provided in the directory server(130). The telephone number of the clicked subscriber is down-loaded from the directory server(130) and stored in an Internet phone terminal(110). The telephone number of the subscriber stored in the Internet phone terminal(110) is transmitted to a gateway(140) through the Internet service provider(120). The telephone number of the subscriber received in the gateway(140) is dialed to a general telephone set(150) through a PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network), to connect a virtual telephone set of the Internet phone terminal(110) for telephone speech.
