PURPOSE: An input buffer circuit is provided to improve operation speed and amplification factor and to have stable swing center value without an additional reference voltage generating circuit. CONSTITUTION: The first and second DC voltage control sections(22,24) reflect AC voltage component of a buffer input signal and generate the first and second AC signals respectively. The first DC voltage control section(22) cuts off the DC voltage component of the input buffer signal in cooperation with the first capacitor generated between the input buffer signal and the first AC signal. The second DC voltage control section(24) cuts off the DC voltage component of the input buffer signal in cooperation with the second capacitor generated between the input buffer signal and the second AC signal. The first driving circuit(26) generates the buffer output signal whose voltage level is driven toward the first voltage level in response to the first AC signal. The second driving circuit(28) generates the buffer output signal whose voltage level is driven toward the second voltage level in response to the second AC signal.
