The attachment has mounting surfaces at least near the upper and/or lower end of the heating body for engagement by mounting surfaces. At least some of the mounting surfaces have an adhesive connection. Two adhesive devices (16,18) can be arranged so that they come into contact when there is a shape-locking joint between a shape-locking holding device (22) and associated devices (22) when the heating body (10) is pivoted onto the wall (12). Independent claims are also included for the following: a method of attaching a heating body.
