The invention relates to a radio frequency securing element for electronically securing articles of merchandise. The inventive element consists of a lower strip conductor (1) and an upper strip conductor (5) which is wound in the opposite direction and has an improved detection rate. Said securing element is particularly stable against changes in the resonance frequency.
