PURPOSE: A suspension system for a vehicle is provided to reduce energy consumption and expenses, and to obtain the optimal geometry in traveling by controlling the height of a roll center, camber and tread efficiently. CONSTITUTION: A wheel carrier is connected to a vehicle body with upper and lower control arms. Ends of upper and lower control arms(38,40) are connected to a roll control apparatus is composed of a driving unit expanding and contracting by hydraulic pressure, and a turning unit rotating by receiving linear reciprocation motion of the driving unit, and moving up and down ends of upper and lower control arms. The driving unit consists of a reciprocating hydraulic cylinder, and the turning unit includes bell cranks(6,8,10,12). The height of the roll center is adjusted with moving upper and lower arms to face each other by converting linear reciprocating motion into rotation. Traveling stability is improved with controlling camber and tread optimally according to geometry output.
