The invention concerns an electric connector with padlock connection locking. Said connector comprises a receiver or socket contact element (1) and a mobile or plug contact element (3), designed to be plugged into the socket (1) for connection. The invention is characterised in that the socket (1) comprises an external base (15), close to its plugging orifice and forming a sliding bearing for a padlock prong (19) fitted into said base (15), the base being open on the inner surface of the socket opening part to enable said padlock prong (19) to be engaged into a matching recess or groove (25), formed laterally on the body (7) of the plug in a position suited for connection.
