ARRANGEMENT FOR CARRYING SIGNALS

A circuit arrangement for transmitting amplitude modulated signals which assume a plurality of amplitude levels is described. These signals are converted by means of a coder network and a signal shaper into a composite signal constituted by a plurality of partial response pulses. The signal, so transmitted, is sampled at the end of each clock period.
