The double axle arrangement consists of two rigid axles (3) mounted one behind the other and which are connected by guide linkages (5) to the vehicle frame. The axles are connected on each side of the frame (2) by leaf springs (10) hinged to the vehicle frame to pivot on a common pivot axis (12) across the vehicle frame. The leaf springs pivot on a rubber bearing (13) with a large volume elastomer body (14) which can deform in all directions.
