<p>A method for improving image quality as much as possible when an image is formed through deflection and focusing, wherein the start time of a deflection step corresponding to each toner passing control step is different with deflection direction with respect to the start time of each toner passing control step. More specifically, the start time of the deflection step is earlier than the start time of the reference toner passing control step. As the distance between two dots formed on an image receiving member (5) by successive impact steps increases, the start time of the deflection step related to the second dot formed secondary is made earlier than that of the deflection step related to the first dot formed first.</p> |
