<p>The invention concerns a method for separating a chemical or biological compound present in a mixture of similar compounds by diffusion in a gel containing a constituent (P) which reacts with the compounds of the mixture in reversible reactions having different kinetic constants from one compound to another. The method consists in applying to the medium (10) for example an electric field (E) varying periodically in time, the period of said field and the concentration of the reactive constituent in the medium (10) being based on the reaction kinetic components of the compounds to be separated to determine the conditions of resonance between said reactions and the applied field, for which the apparent diffusion coefficient of the compound in the medium is maximal.</p> |
