The display unit comprises at least two preferably shelved display parts (1,2) closed b fitting them together and possessing matching guides along the top and bottom edges. The guides are in the form of rails, tongue and groove parts with stop on one side. The undersides of the display parts have casters or rollers (11). At least one display part has a lock for securing it to a base, preferably in the form of vertically movable bolts (12).
