The invention relates to a retaining element for cap screws whose shafts (5) are embedded in an orifice (3) of a mounting plate (1). In order to hold the cap screw (4) on the mounting plate (1) so that it does not get lost, but at the same time can be rotated, the head (7) of the screw (4) is surrounded by two limbs. The first limb (10) is bent upwards and lies parallel to the screw axis and the second limb (11) is bent backwards over the screw head (7) and lies parallel to the mounting plate (1). The distance (a) between the second limb (11) and the mounting plate (1) is calculated in such a way that the screw (4) cannot come out of the orifice (3). This configuration allows the screw (4) which is embedded in the orifice (3) to be retained so that it can always be rotated, in such a way that a fixing element (2) which is connected in a fixed manner to the mounting plate (1) can be screwed tight to a support plate (12) using a nut (14) quickly and easily, at any time. |
