The display has a frame which is provided with a transparent window (31) for visualizing the posters (4), an internal receptacle (11) for the positioning of transparent covers (5) wherein are inserted the posters (4) to be displayed, means (5) for driving the successive covers and means (6) for the rear lighting of the displayed posters (4). The covers (5) are formed by two transparent sheets (51 and 52) which are joined at one of their extremities and have at their top and bottom two hooking sections (53) which are open towards opposite sides of the cover and oriented towards the central area thereof.
