An aquarium in which usually all of the walls are made of glass. Usually the back of the bottom is usually horizontal and the front portion of the bottom (or a part of the front portion of the bottom) is inclined upwardly at an angle of 10 DEG to 40 DEG and the whole of the bottom may be so inclined. In either case, the front of the bottom will be transparent and lighted from below. The back portion will be covered with sand or the like.
