The beam formation command mechanism has multiple signal receivers (1) in a sub network, with a partial combiner (2,3) after each sub network. A second combiner (7) uses optical techniques with division (6) and offsets (5). Finally, optical detectors (10,11,12) form a set of beams (R1-Rr).
