The present invention is characterized by a cutting edge apparatus for machi ne tool comprising a cutting edge for flat cutting fixed to the tip end of a rotation axle, a suction cover for sealing a circumference of the cutting edge except a front face thereof, a hood which is extendable forward therefrom as well as displaceabl e back and forth within a axed range, the hood being fixed to the rim of the suctio n cover, and an energizing means for giving forward force to the hood. |
