1472848 Reactive dye composition HOECHST AG 13 March 1975 [18 March 1974] 10503/75 Heading DIB A dyestuff composition for dyeing or printing natural or regenerated cellulosic fibre materials consists of 20 to 70 per cent by weight of the sodium salt of Reactive Blue 19, anthraquinone-2-sulphonic acid, sodium salt, the sodium salt of a naphthalene-sulphonic acid-formaldehyde condensate, the sodium salt of a condensed phosphate and a dust preventing agent, optionally urea, dextrin and/or cane sugar being added. The preferred dust preventing agent is a mineral oil emulsion. The compositions are prepared by mixing or grinding the ingredients preferably in the presence of water followed by drying e.g. spray drying. The dyestuff compositions are particularly suitable for the pad short-dwell process, onebath wet-stream process and pad batch process. |
