Machine for coating signs esp. signs on motor vehicles with or without a raised peripheral edge, in which the reflecting coating film- also with or without the actual carrier material- is cut or stamped out in the appropriate shape and size of the sign (the length and breadth of which are variable, whereby the stamping unit is not exchanged but is suitably adjusted mechanically.
