The fabrication of marine origin gelatin comprises agitated washing of marine animal skin and connective tissue with sodium chloride solution, for treatment with dilute alkali and neutralization and washing with water. The gelatin is extracted in water by heat treatment, and dried by heating, atomization and lyophylisation, with incorporation of additives.
