The housing contains an exit opening (2a) for filtered fluid, in communication with the cavity and with an exit channel (4) for filtered fluid, and an inlet opening (2b) for the fluid being filtered, in communication with the filter channel inlet. The cavity contains at least one chamber surrounding at least one compartment (14a) which contains a filter, is located inside the filter channel between the inlet end and a first partition, and is in communication with the exit opening via the cavity.
