Multi-vitamin and mineral supplements for administration to a pregnant wom an during her first, second, and third trimesters of pregnancy are provided herein. These supplements include specific regimens of a pharmaceutically-acceptable calci um compound, vitamin D, folic acid, vitamin B12, vitamin B6, and vitamin B1. The prenatal supplements are specifically tailored to maximize fetal development and maternal health during each trimester of pregnancy.
