The apparatus is new. Apparatus includes rotor divided ito two different parts (3,5) rotating inside carcasse (2) provided with double walls (6,7). Pulp enters through tangential entry pipe (8), with heavy contaminants leaving through lateral outlet pipe (9) while the remaining light stream passes through overflow (11) into rotor (1). Part of this stream passes through openings into the carcasse (2), and flows outside through accepted stream pipe (12) while the rest flows through the other part of rotor made as sieve (5) to the axial pipe (13), to join the first part. Rejected stream (not passing through the walls of rotor) is removed through outlet pipe (15).
