PURPOSE: A method for optimizing a coverage of a multi-frequency assignment system is provided to determine a power assignment rate of a dummy pilot necessary for identically maintaining coverages of a common FA(Frequency Assignment) and a dummy FA and optimize a coverage of multi FA environment including the dummy pilot using the determined dummy pilot power assignment rate. CONSTITUTION: The second BTS transmits an RF power to a dummy pilot channel(FA #2) which is less than an RF power to a pilot channel of a dummy pilot channel(FA #1) for identically having a hand-off boundary between the first BTS and the second BTS. The RF output of the dummy pilot is determined according to a dummy pilot power assignment rate on the basis of a path loss to a service area of the dummy pilot channel(FA #1) of the second BTS. |
