The invention relates to a process and a device for stress relieving ferrous alloy workpieces by simultaneously achieving magnestriction, vibration and controlled heating effects in the crystal lattice of a metal workpiece (1) by fixing said workpiece onto a wooden board (2), which moves along an edge runner (3) in a periodical back-and-forth motion passing by an electromagnetic coil (5) supplied with alternating current, preferably of 220 or 380 V, by a charger (6). The coil (5) has stress relieving effects on the workpiece (1) due to a magnetic field higher than or equal to the coercive field demagnetizing the workpiece.
|
