The invention concerns a system for downloading audible alarms into portable telephones. Said system comprises a databank (12) containing complex sounds, in particular of hi-fi band pass of at least 1 kHz, and means (10, 16, 17) for transmitting a selected sound to (a) portable telephone(s) through a telephone communication, in particular in EFR format. The system is also provided with means for controlling (24) transfer of selected sounds from the databank to the portable telephones, in particular for billing copyright. |
