Filtering unit for a virucide substance

A filtration unit comprises a filter medium made from at least one hydrophilic material in the form of a porous felt and/or porous membrane which can absorb and/or adsorb the virocide substance. A filtration unit (1) has an external envelope (2) with at least one inlet (3) and at least one outlet (4) and encloses a filter medium (5) which defines two compartments, respectively an inlet (6) and an outlet (7). The mean porosity of the filter medium is defined such that the contact surface between the biological substance and the filter medium is sufficient to eliminate all the virocide whilst leaving the biological substance unchanged after its passage through the filter, i.e. 1-5 microns m.
