The invention relates to a bioprocess for preparing 7-amino-3deacetylcephalosporanic acid and 7-amino-cephalosporanic acid from adipic acid or from one or more of its salts and esters having the capacity to be assimilated and employed by the Penicillium chrysogenum strain to produce adipoyl-6-amino penicillanic acid, followed by the transformation of the Penicillium chrysogenum strain with a gene which codifies for a derivative expandase-enzyme, preferably from Cephalosporium acremoniu, which will convert in situ the adipoyl-6-amino penicillanic acid into 7-aminodeacetoxy cephalosporanic adipoyl acid, the conversion of the Penicillium chrysogenum strain which produces the isopenicillin-N with a gene which codifies for a derivative hydroxylase enzyme, preferably from Cephalosporium acremoniu which will convert in situ the 7-aminodeacetoxycephalosporanic adipoyl acid in 7-amino-deacetylcephalosporanic adipoyl acid, which will be further subjected to the enzymatic conversion to produce the 7-amino-3-deacetylcephalosporanic acid and the 7-aminocephalosporanic acid.
