PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system which outputs a guide speech with the utilization of an interval of music pieces being reproduced by an on-board audio apparatus. SOLUTION: A navigation apparatus 11 forms guide speech as a vehicle runs, and outputs the guide speech with an interruption signal including a priority set according to contents of the formed guide speech to an audio apparatus 12. When the priority of the guide speech set to the interruption signal is high, the audio apparatus 12 temporarily stops a music being reproduced, and outputs the guide speech outputted from the navigation apparatus 11 through a speaker 13. After a predetermined time has passed since the temporary stop, the temporary stop is relieved and the music is resumed to be reproduced. On the other hand, when the priority of the guide speech set to the interruption signal is low, the audio apparatus 12 continuously reproduces the music up to an interval of the music. The audio apparatus temporarily stops the reproduction at the interval of the music and outputs a request signal for the guide speech to the navigation apparatus 11. |
