PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable torque limiter capable of stabilizing a torque limiting value by preventing abrasion of a constitutive part without increasing the number of part items. SOLUTION: This torque limiter is provided with a rotary shaft 1 functioning as a first input/output shaft, a cylindrical resinous support 14 fixed to an outer diameter of the rotary shaft 1, a resinous first bracket 7 rotatably fitted to and inserted into the outer periphery of the support 14, a resinous second bracket 8 rotatably fitted to and inserted into the outer periphery of the support 14 and engaged with a rubber roller 11 functioning as a second input/output shaft, a joining rotor 9 for forming a magnetic path by being held/fixed by the first bracket 7 and the second bracket 8, and a field device opposed to the inner diameter side of the joining rotor 9 via a void filled with magnetic particles 10, and sandwiched between the second bracket 8 and a large diameter part 14a arranged on the support 14 and composed of a ring-shaped magnet 4 and magnetic pole pieces 5, 6 arranged on shaft directional both sides of the magnet 4.
