PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover fixing structure capable of conducting a necessary and sufficient bolt fastening to a device body and suppressing vibrations of the cover, by a simple structure. SOLUTION: In a section where internal instruments are in close formation, a common chain guide 20 and a tensioner 25 which are internal instruments disposed in the above-mentioned section are fastened and fixed to an engine body 1 by a bolt 26 penetrating a back cover 5. A female thread portion 26b is formed on a head portion 26a of the bolt 26, and a bolt 34 is screwed in the female thread portion 26b, thereby directly fastening and fixing a cover 30 to the engine body 1.
