PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically correct the document of a document format in adverse appearance to the document of a format in beautiful appearance. SOLUTION: This device is composed of an input part for inputting a document containing ruled lines, instructing the correction of a character format or ruled line format and instructing the output of the document, a document storage part for storing the document inputted by the input part, 2 ruled lien format correction table storing the optimal ruled line format corresponding to a certain character format, a character format correction table storing the optimal character format corresponding to a certain ruled line format, an automatic document format correcting part for receiving the correcting instruction of the character format or ruled line format from the input part, reading the document to correct the document format out of the document storage part and automatically correcting any one of the character format and the ruled line format to the optimal ruled line format or character format corresponding to the other document format while referring to any one of two tables, and an output part for outputting the document in the automatically corrected document format. |
